Home

A while ago I was challenged by my sister to define what home is. I guess I’m still figuring it out…and I hope that I can collect my thoughts on it soon. Until then, I came across this beautifully written post by a nomad and world wanderer. I don’t share her resentment of ‘home’ but it’s an interesting perspective nonetheless.

duh!! errbody knows that “home is where the heart is”!

I remember my friend i met in south africa last summer had told me about good ol’ solbeam… and i had just started reading some of it recently. its easy to make decisions by taking the easy way out… and i think i usually do, and maybe that was the best for her! my scout master had once used that as a word against me when i was about 13(i’m not sure what in reference to), and my dad supported me instead by saying why wouldn’t you take the easy way out! why go about something more difficult than it needs to be! haha… touche.

i just watched capturing the freedmans… thank you for recomending it with joe… compelling and rich. that was amazing. and i can see a clear relation to some of the boys you’ve met… in a non-pedophilic way of course.
