A friend recently introduced me to a life goal that I didn’t know existed for me. It’s an insane adventure that I feel called to tackle at some point in my life. It’s called the Mongol Rally.

Who else wants to come?

Just a quick note to let everyone reading know that we successfully summited and descended Mt. Meru on October 19th, 2008. One of the most challenging and rewarding things I’ve done yet. Story & pictures will follow shortly.
Today I met a man from Wellington, New Zealand. When i asked him what I should do if I ever visited Wellington, New Zealand – without a hesitation he told me that I have to hike the Wellington trail. He made it sound pretty amazing, so I am adding it as [Official Blog] Life Goal #2: Hike the Wellington Trail. The pictures I’ve found make it look like it lives up to the hype – see what you think. Has anyone reading ever heard of / done this?
A recent Google search shows that there are many other Stephen Greenwoods in the world, including Spansish Classical Guitarist (Stephen, if you’re out there, much respect on the riffs and overall baldness), “Minervan journalist” Stephen Greenwood (OK technically he’s Greenwood-Hyde, but close enough and certainly better than Stephen Jekyll-Hyde), and Association President of the Burdekin Shire Council in Australia. (Stephen, if you’re out there, nice work on the sketch plan to upgrade the showground facilities).
